What do a campsite, two friends, and a cup of coffee have in common?

More than you think...

It started simply. Two friends. A love for Italy. And a slight obsession with really good coffee.

So what do you do? You pack your bags, drive to Italy, and fill your days with sun, pasta, wine… and espressos that leave you speechless.

At a campsite — yes, really — it happened. The owner served coffee that was different. Better. Rounder. The kind of cup that makes you think: where does this come from?

We asked. He told us. And before we knew it, we were in contact with the roaster.

Coffee came with us to the Netherlands. For ourselves… we thought.

But friends and family tasted it too. And wanted more. Always more.

That’s how the ball started rolling. From a few bags of coffee to a webshop. From a webshop to something bigger: the Koffiepaleis. With customers ranging from home baristas to businesses and hospitality. All with the same mission: to drink better coffee.

After six years, something changed.

One of us said goodbye. A new partner stepped in. New energy. Fresh ideas. A different perspective, but with the same love for coffee.

And so we started over.

With a revamped webshop. With tea, machines, and accessories. With more attention to you: our customers. And with coffee that finally gets the place it deserves.

This is our story.

And honestly? The best part is yet to come.
