Arabica is considered a superior quality coffee with a softer, sweeter, and more complex taste (notes of sugar, fruit, and berries). Robusta, on the other hand, is more bitter, contains almost twice as much caffeine, and is more resistant to diseases and pests. Physically, Arabica beans are larger and more oval, while Robusta beans are smaller and rounder.
